– A speedboat license is not required for renting a boat with an engine up to 30 horsepower.
– The lessor bears no responsibility for injury or death of the lessee and passengers during the rental period.
– The lessor bears no responsibility for loss or damage to the lessee’s property during the rental period.
– The lessee must check the condition of the boat, its equipment, and ensure all necessary documents are present before departure. Any damages must be reported to the lessor.
– The lessee is obliged to compensate the lessor for any damage caused to the boat, engines, or any equipment and safety gear during the rental period.
– The lessee must be at least 21 years old, as proven by a passport or other official document.
– A rental agreement must be signed for each rental.
– Boat delivery and pickup are from Lixouri Port. If possible, delivery can be arranged at a different location for an additional fee.
– When moving the boat in the port, the speed must not exceed 5 knots per hour.
– The lessee must be capable of performing actions related to the safe operation of the boat. We reserve the right to refuse to rent a boat if our staff believes the potential lessee cannot safely handle the boat or understand the rental agreement terms.
– Operators must not consume prohibited substances or alcohol during the rental period and must not transport individuals not declared in the rental agreement.
– It is prohibited to use the boat for transporting prohibited substances, flammable materials, weapons, and individuals or animals for exploitation.
– No one other than the primary lessee is allowed to operate the boat.
– The boat is delivered to the lessee fully fueled. Fuel consumption is the lessee’s responsibility and must be paid to the business immediately upon return of the boat to the port.
– The boat must not be brought close to shore or have the hull come into contact with the seabed. Only anchor use is permitted.
– The use of the main or auxiliary engine out of the water is prohibited.
– Approaching organized beaches marked with buoys, other boats, and swimmers with the engine running is prohibited.
– Parallel sailing close to the coast is not allowed; maintain a distance of at least 150 meters when traveling along the coast.
– The maximum distance from the coast must not exceed 3 nautical miles.
– Check the fuel level and ensure you have enough to return.
– Avoid fishing buoys.
– When anchored, the main engine must not be lifted with the propeller out of the water to avoid the risk of injury.
– Special attention should be paid to the propeller. Although our boats have propeller guards, accidental contact can cause fatal accidents. Avoid shallow waters and rocks to prevent hitting the engine’s leg. A damaged propeller can affect safe boat handling.
– During boat movement, both the operator and passengers must remain seated to avoid potential injuries.
– Dangerous driving, skill displays, and racing with other boats are prohibited.
– The operator must always have the safety key attached to their hand.
– Interfering with the electrical and mechanical parts of the boat by rental members is prohibited.
– Ensure you have sunscreen and a charged mobile phone in case of emergency.
– In case of sudden wind increase above 3 bf, move to a sheltered area and return to the departure port.
– In case of emergency, contact us, and our safety boat will find you using the GPS tracker installed on all our boats. If a rescue operation is needed due to your responsibility, it will be charged based on the situation and distance from the departure port.
– The boat is insured for bodily injuries and material damages resulting from sea collisions against third parties.
– Daily excursion hours are from 10:00 to 18:00.
– Half-day rentals are available from 09:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00.
– Subject to agreement and availability check, boat rental with a skipper is possible for an extra charge.
